Get your self a good pair of running sneakers. If you have a chance go get fitted at a store that is knowledgeable in what runners need.
Knuckle lights for runners are a game changer, especially when the days are shorter during the winter. You will not have to rely on day light hours to schedule your runs.
Good socks are key! I love thorlos because they have a slight padding at the ball of the foot and heal. The material is also great at wicking sweat and keeping your feet dry.
Hydration is so important! Nuun tabs add the electrolytes that a we need as lose them through our sweat.
